Prayer For You Today
- God gives every man a choice. For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom.6:23) There is not a single person in all the earth who is always good and never sin. (Eccl. 7:20) The price that sinners pay is to be separated from God and spend all eternity in hell.
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) But God showed his geat Love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Rom. 5:8)
- And all who believe in God's Son has eternal life. Those who don't obey the Son will never experience eternal life, but the wrath of God remains upon them. (John 3:36)
- Christ died for our sins just as the scriptures say. (1 Cor.15:3) He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day.
- "But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the scripture says,'whoever' believes in Him will not be disappointed." (Rom. 10:8-11)
- God now commands all men everywhere to repent. Repentence is a change of Heart which causes you to turn toward God and away from your present way of life. (Acts 17:30) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- There is no one else in all of heaven for people to call on to save them. ( Acts 4:12) THERE IS NO OTHER NAME - JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT.
Please say this prayer with me:
Dear Jesus, I realize I am a sinner and You paid for my sin on the cross Please forgive me, save my soul from hell, so that I may go to heaven with You when I die. Help me each day to practice and live good christian qualities in complete dependence upon You and submission to Your will for my life. Give me wisdom and grace to serve You faithfully. Renew my mind and conform me into Your likeness. I dedicate myself to You, and I ask You to make me into the man (or woman) of God that You would have me to be. Amen.
